This piece is named after Jellybean, his story is below.
Jellybean arrived in a heartbreaking state: emaciated, dehydrated, and with cigarette burns on his body. Terrified and fragile, he experienced his first soft bed while staying at the vet, and he absolutely loved it. Though his recovery was slow, he finally felt love, care, and gentleness at The Little Island Sanctuary.
Sadly, the years of neglect took their toll, and despite best efforts, Jellybean couldn’t make a complete recovery and passed away. However, it’s a consolation that he experienced love and care in his final days and passed surrounded by love. His memory will stay with all who knew him.
